I hired Cape Cod Carpentry Guild to make a structural support so the crack in the ceiling could be repaired. Rick responded to my call promptly and scheduled an appointment at a mutually agreed time. He was punctual and did not rush through our meeting. Although he didn’t plan on it, he donned a respirator mask and crawled up in the attic to thoroughly evaluate the problem. He was able to have his guys come shortly thereafter and construct the needed support. My husband and I were elated!! He was very fair with the price, neat and clean. John provided us with pictures as if needed, we could show the drywall men what was done. We couldn’t be happier. The details matter and Rick was very cognizant of that fact. I contacted Cape Cod Carpentry Guild initially to replace several interior doors and an exterior door.They did such a good job on the doors, that we hired them to replace a bathroom vanity and to install tile in our kitchen, bathroom, and entryway.Throughout the process, Rick communicated thoroughly , letting us know when members of his team would be arriving. "Since we moved to Cape Cod 2 years ago, we have had to upgrade five bathrooms, install a new kitchen, rebuild several rooms damaged by burst pipes, reface two fireplaces, extend our deck for a jacuzzi, add crown molding to many rooms, and more. We count our blessings since meeting Rick because he 1) is very responsive to phone calls and texts, 2) is highly skilled and professional, 3) works fast and efficiently, 4) does not try to rip you off, 5) is very attentive to detail, and 6) prices his work up-front and very competitively. On top of that, he is a very personal and tremendous human being who is enjoyable to be around and work with. I feel safe leaving him in my house to complete work when I need to attend meetings.
